I created The Myrrh Tree to share my love of the tarot and of the magical world. My real name is Cecile and I make handcrafted incense as well as candles on top of providing tarot readings.

I have had an interest in the Tarot and Astrology since a very young age. There is no history of any special power in my family, no traditions passed down. We are a very creative family and good at making things with our hands.
I'm a good listener and people tend to naturally confide in me. I'm understanding of people's feelings and issues, and know that life is not always rosy.
I designate myself as a Pagan for religious beliefs since my belief system is not that related to organized religions but rather to nature. I believe in something not unlike the Force in the Jedi religion (I'm a fan of Star Wars lol, but the Jedi belief system actually makes sense to me). I believe we are part of the Universe and it is a part of us.
We are equals.
What makes us different is our choices.

My Philosophy

I believe we are born with a general purpose and direction. However we often stray from it and need to do some soul searching in order to come back to that prewritten path. I have adopted the belief that if you are moving in a certain direction and everything seems to always go wrong, or not work at all, and that if you move away from that direction temporarily things become better,  then you are not meant to be moving in that direction.
I also am a strong believer that we are masters of our own destinies. We have the power to change anything about ourselves to live happier lives.
Education is the best thing that can ever happen to anyone and it saddens me that not more people are interested in widening their horizons.
Accepting the fact that people have different opinions and ways of living than our own is the first step to understanding.

If a situation or relationship is making you unhappy, do yourself a favor and work towards moving into a happier situation.

I am not here to give you all answers to all questions, I stand in the position of adviser and confidant. The Tarot, any form of divination or magical ritual, can only give you glimpses of what could be. Ultimately the power resides within you to make your dreams a reality.
